Alright John Hughes fans - which was your fave - and why? What made it so much better then the others?

For me - I chose the Breakfast Club. To me it was the movie that defined the generation. I liked all the brat pack movies, and most J. Hughes films, but for me personally this was it. This was who we were.

It was a difficult choice, but eventually
I voted for The Breakfast Club.

Next to Wierd Science it feels for me so 80s
and Plains, Trains and Automobiles is still hilarious.

Who could possibly vote John who - must be people that are over 50 or under 25.

I'm one of the guys that voted "John who?"
I don't have a clue who he is, maybe cause of my age (22)
I'm probably one of the youngest ones around here.

could you give me some info about him? I'm to lazy to search it on imdb or wiki Razz

He wrote all the movies in the poll. Most of which were huge hits in the 80s. Most also featured the brat pack.

Sirius - the Brat Pack and John Hughes movies were all over the 80s, I don't think you'd have to be a fanatic to know about them. Back then soundtracks were the pop hits.

It was a hard call - but I had to go with Mr. Mom. How socially prescient of me.

I'm late to the polls.

Great, but tough, question.

I went with Weird Science. Even though I could never get that experiment to work.

<===

My favorite is fairly obvious.

Weird Science was pretty good, too. Those two movies have an uncanny way of describing my life...
